Her journeys through Mexico, France, Switzerland, and Italy, guided by remarkable teachers and masterclasses, have enriched her artistry and inspired a versatile, creative approach to her playing.
She shares her music internationally in solo and chamber performances, as a soloist with orchestras, and in recitals—bringing insight, creativity, and musical depth to Baroque, Classical, sacred, and contemporary repertoire alike.

Francely Zurita is a passionate music educator who guides students from individual lessons to large-scale performances involving up to 250 students.
Her expertise in flute, traverso (Baroque flute), piano, Baroque performance practice, and Dalcroze Eurhythmics allows her to integrate historical awareness, movement, listening, and expressive freedom into her teaching.
With experience across France, Switzerland—including conservatories in Geneva—Mexico, and the United States, she cultivates holistic musicianship, inspiring creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love for music in every student.

The Dalcroze Method

The Dalcroze Method brings music to life through the body.
Created by Émile Jaques-Dalcroze in the early 20th century, it provides students with a solid rhythmic foundation through movement, enhancing musical expression and understanding.
In Francely’s classes, students step, skip, march, toss scarves, bounce balls, clap, and improvise—all in rhythm and in time with the music. These activities make rhythm and musical patterns tangible, helping learners of all ages internalize and feel music fully.

Creative Producer

Francely Zurita is a creative producer and artistic director, combining her experience as a performer and educator to design and produce large-scale music events, recordings, and workshops. She has led projects ranging from concerts and festivals to educational programs, collaborating with musicians and artists internationally.

Francely Zurita – Biography

-The Beginnings of Her Musical Journey-Francely Zurita, from Monterrey, Mexico, began studying music at an early age. She studied flute with Luis Alfredo González and earned a Bachelor’s in Flute Performance from UANL, before continuing her studies in Europe, specializing in flute, Baroque music, and pedagogy. In Lyon, France, she studied under Sophie Dufeutrelle, earning the Diplôme d’Études Musicales, and later trained at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, completing a Bachelor’s in Early Music and a Master’s in Music Pedagogy, focusing on Baroque flute (traverso) and the Dalcroze Method.
During her time in France and Geneva, she also ran her private flute and piano studio, teaching students of all levels.
-Performances-
Winner of Mexico’s National Flute Competition, the “Gildardo Mojica” Prize, Francely has performed internationally across Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain, Lebanon, Korea, Mexico, and the United States as a soloist, with orchestras, and in chamber ensembles. Highlights include performing with the Baroque Orchestra of the Geneva Conservatory at Salle Liszt in Geneva, Beaux-Arts de Lyon, other orchestras in Mexico, Baroque concerts with the Walla Walla Symphony, and a recital at Whitman College.
-Education & Pedagogy-Francely has taught at the Conservatoire Populaire de Genève, the Institut Jaques-Dalcroze, and in France. She also ran her private flute and piano studio in France and Geneva, teaching students of all levels.
After moving to the U.S. in 2019, she began teaching in 2021 as music teacher at Walla Walla Valley Adventist Schools, instructing Kindergarten through 4th grade, over 250 students, where she applied the Dalcroze method of music and movement to help children internalize rhythm, melody, and musical concepts. She also directed choirs and handbell ensembles, fostering teamwork, creativity, and a love of music from the youngest learners to larger group performances.
-Producer & Creative Director-Francely has produced large-scale, multidisciplinary musical productions, combining music, choir, movement, instrumental ensembles, and visual elements such as lighting and painting. She also produces recordings, including her solo album Vent, and has produced discs for other artists, blending her artistic vision with professional musical production. Her work engages both performers and audiences while combining her expertise as a flutist, educator, and Dalcroze specialist.
